Instructor Policies |
No food or tobacco products are allowed in the classroom. Only students enrolled in the course are allowed in the classroom, except by special instructor permission. Electronic devices (including but not restricted to cell phones, MP3 players, and laptop computers) shall not be used during examinations unless specifically allowed by the instructor. Use of electronic devices during normal class hours distracts other students, disrupts the class, and wastes valuable time. Instructors have an obligation to reduce such disruptions. Turn your cellphones to vibrate when you enter the classroom I will not discuss your grades over the phone or by email. If you want to discuss your grades, you must come to my office, in person. |

Attendance Policy |
This is a 3 credit course that is required to meet 4 hours per week. You get one "free" absence before your tardies/absences start to count against your grade in the "Attendance" category. After that, each absence deducts two percentage points from your final grade (max of 10). Three tardies will count as one absence. |

Important Dates for this Course Due to the global pandemic of Covid –19 this course will be taught primarily online. However, you will be required to attend the following dates synchronously at the class’s given time in a Zoom meeting with the instructor. Your attendance at these sessions will be counted toward your attendance grade for the semester. We will also meet face-to-face for three classes this semester to go over equipment check-out, handling, maintenance, and check back in.
